iPad (1st generation), 32GB, iOS 5.1.1, Wi-Fi Only I recently purchased a 1st Generation iPad with the max iOS 5.1 and I need GarageBand on it. I have GB on my iMac but it doesn't show up in the Apps selection of iTunes so I'm stuck on how to request an older version of GarageBand.

Since the iOS and Mac versions of GarageBand are different, you'll need to purchase it in the Store section of iTunes. You can just search the store for GarageBand if you're having trouble finding it. LikeReplyResponse from Geary:
Hi, thanks for the quick reply...however, I think I need to reiterate, I need an 'older version' of GarageBand as I only have iOS 5.1.1 on my iPad. I need GarageBand 1.4....which isn't offered on in the Apple/iTunes store. Any idea who might have an old working link to older GBs?

I understand, but if you download the latest version of GarageBand in iTunes, you'll then be offered an older version if you try to download it from the App Store on your iPad. The App Store has a feature to let you download older versions of apps, but one of the prerequisites is that you already own the app, hence the need to download the latest version in iTunes. Can I Get An Older Version Of Garageband
So, I’ve given my old 2011 MacBook Pro to my dad so that he could use garageband to make some basic track demos. Before giving to him I did a full. Click “Download” the last compatible version. At this point, the app will install as expected and you can use it, albeit without the features present in the newer updates. Is there a reliable download an older version of Garageband (self.GarageBand) submitted 11 months ago by HairyParter I just bought a 2008 Imac with El Capitan loaded.
Can I Download An Older Version Of Garageband
- GarageBand recognizes the tascam as an input and output source but when I play guitar there is no sound going into GarageBand. I know the tascam works because I hear the guitar in my monitors, but it’s the dry signal with none of the GarageBand effects. The tascam and the old version of GarageBand worked fine.
- Dec 04, 2020 Garageband for Catalina 10.15.7. Hi I have an old MacBook Pro (mid 2012) and have cleared it off so my son can create music on it using GarageBand. However in cleaning it up I removed the older garageband and now when I Redownload it from my App Store purchases I cannot open it because I need to have OS11.
